DNF 패키지 관리자¶
DNF 또는 Dandified Yum은 일부 리눅스 배포판에서 사용되는 패키지 관리자입니다. 그것은 Red Hat 기반 시스템에서 널리 사용되는 Yum (Yellowdog Updater, Modified) 패키지 관리자의 차세대 버전입니다. DNF는 몇 가지 한계를 해결하고 성능을 향상시키기 위해 Yum을 대체하기 위해 도입되었습니다.
DNF는 Rocky Linux, Fedora, RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) 8 이후 버전 및 DNF를 패키지 관리자로 채택한 다른 리눅스 배포판에서 일반적으로 사용됩니다. 사용자와 관리자에게 더 현대적이고 효율적인 패키지 관리 경험을 제공하는 것을 목표로 합니다.

패키지 설치¶
Rocky Linux 운영 체제에서 DNF 패키지 관리자를 다른 패키지 관리자와 마찬가지로 사용하여 원하는 패키지를 설치, 제거 및 업데이트할 수 있습니다.

패키지 제거¶
패키지를 설치하는 것처럼 dnf를 사용하여 패키지를 제거할 수 있습니다. 그러나 리눅스 시스템에서는 의존성이 매우 중요하며, 이에 대해 잘 모른다면 패키지를 제거하지 않는 것이 좋습니다. 예를 들어, 실수로 설치된 패키지가 20개의 의존성을 가지고 있을 수 있으며, 해당 패키지를 제거할 때 시스템은 다른 프로그램과 공유되는 그 20개의 패키지도 함께 제거할 것입니다. 결과적으로 이전에 정상적으로 작동하던 일부 프로그램이 사용 불가능해질 수 있습니다. 게다가 같은 패키지를 다시 설치함으로써 해결할 수 있다고 생각한다면, 버전 충돌 문제를 겪을 수 있습니다. 이 점에 대해서는 주의해야 합니다.

DNF는 의존하는 패키지를 제거하지 않고는 패키지를 제거할 수 없습니다.

DNF 저장소 구성¶
