Release Engineering description

Release Engineering combines software development and infrastructure management into a unified unit responsible for building, managing, testing, and releasing Rocky Linux. The team holds the final authorization on all official distribution images, and assets. Their duties include:

• Upstream tracking
• Build system management
• Infrastructure maintenance
• Community and Special Interest Group (SIG) support
• And, with the assistance of the Testing team, quality assurance
